If they could just stick with 1 gaming engine to run the game and a basic set of Table Top rulebooks to follow. Because they need to come out with the next generation of the game. It then gets put to the sidelines to ride the bench. It is kind of ironic that once a Blood Bowl title finally has the polish that we as head coaches are looking for. With that being said, Blood Bowl 3 is still in better shape than Blood Bowl 1 was. Damn share holders ruining our fun of getting a polished game in our hands. One could blame corporations for the sad state of affairs within the video game industry. Unless the game on question has a go fund me sort of finances, they are being released and patched after the fact. Majority of the game developers are releasing their games semi- finished. I would not feel broken for the state of the game currently. I can concur with most of what you two have already said here. The Necromunda and Mordhiem games suck too, maybe worse. I want to play it, but it's just making me bitter and sad. Now we can't have visible mutations because they clash with the MTX. Blood Bowl 2 never even got proper star player models. I was super excited for Renegades, but it's all making me sad. I wanted to play Blood Bowl with my friends. Core features are 3-6 months down the pipe. We've lost even more functionality from BB2 than we did from 1-2. Maybe we'll get Blood Bowl Sevens, or Blitz Ball. If they build a good framework, maybe we won't need a Blood Bowl 4, at least not as fast as other sequels. I'm not a fan of the MTX model, but I held out hope. Wife bought me the Brutal Edition anyway. I'm currently on a fixed disability income and money got right. (assuming I even have the money to do so) I guess I'll just buy the teams like I always have and save my sanity. No other games really gave me that sense of self and progression as GW specialist games did. The numbers are too low and a D6 is too rigid in my opinion.
